E-mail
Mail-In
All mail which
is sent to your e-mail address, is collected in a POP3 Account (Post
Office Protocol). You can set up a separate POP3 for as many people
as you wish, using your Personal Control Panel.
Once mail that
has been sent to you is in your POP3 account on the server, the
next step is to collect it. There are a host of software clients
available to collect your e-mail. The most popular are Microsoft
Outlook, and the free option of Outlook express, which is supplied
with all Windows Operating Systems.
The following
setting are needed:

Your File System
When you have
gained FTP access to your site, you will see the following 3 folders:
HTDOCS
PRIVATE
STATS
The folder,
which we are dealing with, is the HTDOCS folder. This is where you
will store your web site. Inside HTDOCS, you will see a folder named
CGI-BIN. Should you wish to write SSI scripts for our Windows 2000
Servers, this is where you will place your files.
In the HTDOCS
folder, you should place a file named 'index.htm'. This file is
the first page that visitors to your site will see. In addition
to this file, you may place all your files and sub-folders that
will hold the contents of your website.
